I made 486/458 on a 383 w/ 5.3L heads. This was through a stock 78mm throttle body and LS6 intake. Certainly room for improvement with a 90mm intake setup. Also didn't have my exhaust setup optimized. Will probably dyno again in the next month or so.

460/410 six years ago with a TEA 1.5 head hand finished, 230/232 cam, stock intake, stock bottom end, all other bolt ons. The engine would have probably been worth 480rwhp with today's LSX technology (FAST intakes, new tuning methods, etc).

I have a 6.0 liter and plan on leaving it at 370 inches, I got 4 sets of LS heads. WHich one ported for the most power? Here are the casting#'s

706
862
853
317

I am gonna change the car I think, gonna do some road racing. Put a six speed back in it with a LS in front of it.

Just want something different.

Stock shortblock LS2 , AS 5.3 heads made 455 on a Mustang dyno thru a 12 bolt, unlocked 5K stall. Should go close to 500 thru the more common 6 speed/10 bolt combo on a dyno jet. Rest of motor specs in my signature.

My setup only makes 425RW, but thats through a th350 and 4600 non lockup stall, a 9 inch with 4.86 gear, and slicks.

I'm guessing i'm losing a good 25% at least through my drivetrain for dyno numbers.

stock bore lq9, C&C ported 5.3s, fast 92/92, 9.5:1 diamond pistons

4.86 gears you running a 30 inch tire? What kinda RPM is required to get thru the beams?
