how about 588/540+ to the ground.... On a Mustang Dyno in the 85f heat (IAT's were 110 at the start of the run and 97 at the end) .. Stock it was 475/417.. the upgrades are KB snout with 2 7/8" pulley (largest of the 4 available..which means another 75-100hp is available to this guy God Help HIM lol) AccuFab Throttle body & SVT Exhaust. that's it.. and the son of a bitch was running A/F in the low 10's for most of the run (4th gear)..
the vid I have here is the first run (TuneTimePerformance's AWD Dyno with me at the wheel), where if you look close enough at the end you can see the curb weight at 3650lbs the computer came up with that, but if you check you will see it's about 200lbs too high) when it was changed to 3450lbs is when it put up the 588/540.. I am GM through and through but DAM that engine rocks in that car, it's got uncontrollable wheelspin under 70mph, even with those huge tires out there, anyway just a little something different to break up the same ol' dyno threads, enjoy..
first pull's sheet, I left with my camera after this one, I also did the stock pull on a previous day last week, was a HUGE difference in time to complete, like 4seconds quicker to 150-160 from about 60mph
stock setup
HOLY 24 torx bolts to get the diffuser off Batman! in two sizes, in NO particular order, gotta love a hand Built Ford lol!
PS. the car is awsome to look at and be around, it's a chick magnet and great conversation piece in his shop but MAN, is it NOT comfortable in the least bit.. cramped, seats suck (carbon fiber though, pretty insane for ....3 minutes lol) I would rather have a Lambo or Ferrari, heck even a 911 Turbo if i could afford this thing (was like $180k new)
Glad to see them making some good power in modified form. I've seen some stock ones compete in the standing mile and they only went in the mid 160 mph range. This one would probably go in the higher 170s.

For the price I will take a new z06. The extra money will go into a forged bottom end, fuel system from hell, and a couple hair driers. That 580rwhp will look and sound like a golf cart compared to 180k in a Z06.

Non the less its a bad a$$ car though.
hell yeah. there was one in the FI section with a bullet proof C5R with twin hair dryers making 1265 with 20psi. thats what i would spend 200k on
but GT's are nice cars to look at no doubt

I think they are pretty comfortable for what they are. The seats are not bad and over all I like the interior. The worst part is visibility. Not to much window space to look out. The worst is being so low and just imagining a soccer mom side swiping you on accident. Then again I am not that tall. And if you have an above ground dyno you do not have that much room to open the door.
This dude that lives in my town (Rancho Cucamonga) drives his white/blue striped GT every day to work.
It is pullied with no mufflers, and the thing sounds just sinister. He hangs with this other guy that has a Yellow C6 Z06 with a diffuser on it and another dude with a 650rwhp Viper.
I wonder where they guys go and play.
But, I would have to say that the Gt with those mods has to put down between 525 and 550.
haha yea i've seen that guy a few times down at omaha jacks, car sounds amazing
Yeah, those dudes are always over at Omaha Jacks.....I met the guys partner (the dude with the red/white viper) and he was really cool and suggested that I come and hang out and have lunch and what not to talk cars.
Been so busy I haven't had the time. I would like to find out how much power that thing puts out though, so hopefully I can bump into them soon.

I sat in an 07' C6 that was getting a Cam, LT's, intake, etc. (at 400mi, owner is a madman that already HAS a C6Z, TBSS [H/C] new silverado [Stall, shorties, etc.] and a number of others) and the Vette just destroys the uber-expensive GT for comfort IMO at least, too F**in hot in there man..
as for tire slip? yeah I guess there was some by looking at the graph. it was actualy pretty tricky to strap down on there and geting it on both rollers after it was tight was rough, that may have hampered it a bit, I readjusted it's position several times..
on another note help me understand how the hell a new auto C6 put down 326hp stock and then 452 with just Cam (Lingenfelter GT11) American racing LT's, catback, UD pulley, ported intake, CAI & Tune??? NO HEADS? are the 243's that good? pulls were done in 4th, in hot weather IAT's were 90+
