Default H/C LQ4 dyno numbers

Finally we had a chance to tune the Z28, with the stock bottom end LQ4 I put together and installed. First pass last week was a 465rwhp on a Dynapack. This week, after servicing the converter, we were at 471rwhp. I was aiming for 475-480 or so. I fixed the fuel and added some timing and came up with 494rwhp! ... can't recall the torque, but it was around 500 as well. I made some other changes, but it didn't like it. Talk about power, even through our 12-bolt (spooled 4.11) and RMVB TH400 using an 8", 5000 stall (from the HPTuners scans) ... oh and 91 octane fuel. Hopefully this means the Z28 will run mid-low 10s on this temporary engine. I will see about uploading a copy of the graph, it is unusual to say the least. Not bad for four quick sessions on the dyno with in an hour's time.

Im debating going 408 or finishing my 370. Your set up is probably a track only right?
how streetable is it?

Yes, it is track only. As for the engine and possibly being street worthy, if the Accel TB had an IAC soleniod it would be very streetable in regards to idle quality. I can actually have it idle at 800rpms with the set screw and minor tweaking of the fuel/timing tables. The trans/converter setup is the only thing that is keeping it from being street worthy, but an overdrive with lockup trans should make it streetable.

I was wanting to get a "carb efi" intake, and run an elbow but everybody told me that it would kill my bottom end. how is yours on the bottom end?
