Default 6.0L, L92's, MS4 at 108lsa GMPP and Dave's elbow

Well after I got my trans problem figured out, we made some pulls at the local dyno.

My setup is this

-06 LQ9 block from GMPP
-08 LY6 6.0L crank rods and pistons with ARP pro rod bolts
-stock unported L92's with manley valves, springs, retainers etc etc
-stock rocker arms
-Morel high rev LSx lifters
-heads were milled .075" along with the GMPP L92 carb/efi intake.
-MS4 cam set in at 108LSA
-double roller heat treated chain and ported LS6 pump
-Nitro Dave's elbow with 1" carb spacer to clear GMPP intake.
-Holley 90MM tb
-pistons had to be cut to clear the MS4 on the intake side, the exhaust already had the notches.
-BES Racing Engines did all of the machine and assembly work.

car is a m6 12 bolt with 4.10's and chrome z06's.

here is the dyno graph. we are also going to try a 4150 style tb on top on the GMPP intake.... sometime soon.

All in all for what it is, I am pretty damn happy. I had a run in with a ms3 cammed 99Z that made 390 and he sprayed a 175 shot on me and could only pull about a car on me from a 40 roll to 130....

Not to bad man. All that power and 4.10's she must pull like a MULE on steroids.

what setup is this one laid over on the dyno? 450whp through a 6 spd 12 bolt seems awfully low for an L92 headed 6.0 motor with that much compression and a carbed intake. i think removing the elbow will bring up some hp, but not the 50whp i'd expect out of a combo like this.

interesting to see what the 108 lsa (how much advance/retard?) and carbed intake did, even on the 6 liter motor...pulls good from 6-7,300.

Not bad numbers at all, IMO! I'd figure (and these are very approximate figures) you have around a 60cc chambers, and I'd guess something like 3cc worth of valve reliefs. That would net you about 11.1-11.2:1 static compression. Let us know how she runs at the strip!

I am happy with it... the intake valve is very shrouded with a 4" bore...

anyways Its going to the track full street trim with ET streets tomorrow.

Saturday we are putting on a 1500 CFM 4150 throttle body and see if that elbow(which i think it is) is holding back power.

It made 480whp from 6500 to 7500 when the belt broke off on one of the pulls!
