92 GMC Typhoon Black/black $5000

My buddy is selling his 92 Typhoon. has about 102,9xx on it. Runs great, reliable.
A lot of new parts.
Radiator & hoses; distibutor, plugs, wires, cap & rotor; front brakes,rotors bads, bilstein shocks; starer, alternator; battery; heavy duty silicone couplers; idler arm; a/c compressor-orings, r134 converted-recharged

Things that you may want to fix
Missing right front fender flare
front bumper cover needs repair/replacement
left fender has a dent in it behind marker light
steering box and/or pitman arm is worn
paint job is faded/peeling/chipped

$5000 as is.
$5800 with black GM ZR1 wheels and fresh 275/40/17 sumotumo's

how come the paint is only peeling on the body kit? is this a true typhoon? price seems low even in this condition.

Its real, but its been repainted before. Ive been driving it back and forth from PA to NJ this week and it suprisingly is gettting 18-20 on the highway, who wouldve guessed.

Love to have one, don't need another project though. Price seems pretty good. I bet those fender flares are next to impossible to come by though...

we found a place that makes them has them in stock, $350. they're made from the gm mold but out of better material.

Normal surface rust on frame and diff case. NO RUST on door bottoms or the quarters panels that I can see.

Update this thread or shoot me a pm if this price comes down. I am looking for one of these. Unfortunetly NJ is too far for me to come look at it for this price. I know what they are worth but this one needs body work, the fender flare that cost 350, a bumper cover that cost more i am sure, and a steering box or pitman arm. Is the truck drivable from NJ to MA? What are the stock wheels and tires like? Pics of surface rust on frame?

It is totally driveable now and will make that trip without a problem. I was driving it to and from work, 80 miles each way. I also have a new pitman arm and rebuilt performance ratio steering box that I will include for the asking price.

They're not my favorite either but I have them with good tires if you are goign for originallity. I also have a a grey set of ZR1 (17x9 & 17x11) wheels with new front tires, and decent rear tires.
