Default Looking to buy a 2000-02 trans am

Hey, I live in the Buffalo, NY area, and I've pretty much decided that an LS1 trans am or formula is the car I want, and it fits my goals perfectly. After seeing friends dump a couple thousand into their mustangs, to barely break the 300rwhp mark N/A, and watchin another friend pay 5000 for a supercharger, only to make 380rwhp, I figured i needed a car with a stronger motor.

I currently have a 99 Mustang GT auto, that I still owe about 5000 on, paid 10000 for the car over a year ago, hoping to get about 8500 for it. Then using the rest as a down payment on a T/A.

Anyway, what I'm lookin for is a 2000-2002 LS1 Trans Am or Formula, automatic, t-tops, no preference as far as leather/cloth. First choice for color is either black or red, but a dark blue would work if everything else about the car is the way i want it. No more than 65000 miles, and as stock as possible (really depends on the condition of the car though). Trying to keep the price below 9000, which i've heard is pretty reasonable, that there are good deals out there, I just have to find them. I've tried autotrader and craigslist, and all i got were overpriced 30th anniversary ones for 14-17000. Any help in locating a local one for me to check out would be appreciated.
