Question anyone taking the season off???

im on the fence. i was thinking i might just tinker with the car a little at a time and see maybe have it together for fall when the boat is ready to come out.
i have allot of work im going to do to the boat in the next few weeks, then its warm and boat season and i had a ball.
not sure what im going to do.
anyone sitting on the side lines?

I was contemplating it. It sure would save me a ton of money, i will have to run the QS class at least once just to beat up on Don since he is running the 11.5 class this year.

Chillin this year. Car is not 100% and no $ to make it 100% this year. With just buyin' a place and all, I am still getting a handle on the new budget. I'll be down at the track occasionally for moral support.

I'll tinker with the car and drive it on weekends. I just race for fun anyways. Soon enough it will go down the 1320 again.

Screw that! I like going for a new PB every year. I'm currently rebuilding the trans, a cutout is going on, a new clutch master cylinder (Tick) is on its way, a new torque arm relocation crossmember I'll be bolting up with the trans, and PLENTY of tread left on my ET Streets for the track!

I'm very curious to see if I pick up any power with the cutout. Might be nothing, might be something, so I'll set the new goal when I find out what it makes. Who knows, if it feels really good when I get the trans back in it and the cutout picks up some power, maybe I'll even do some powershifting and shoot for a roll-cage-required timeslip with a ~400 hp, full weight M6 street car.

tony, get a ski, i will show u where we chill with the boats. its pretty easy to get to from you. you could drive 20 min and dump in newburyport and cruz over to wingerseek beach and join in some beach parties noyzee style!!!!

timmy, you guys are welcome any time. and as i said, just about every single night last year, i grabbed a 12 pack and i took my boat and lou took his out, we went out, pounded some waves, drank a few beers and just soaked up life for a bit. great way to unwind after a shit day at work. nothing like jumpin on the boat, fire up the straight pipes bumpin the 1,000 watt system jammin out in the sun with some beers. gotta love it!!!

maybe i will pick at the car and have it ready for some runs in the fall befor we pull the sleds back out.. who knows. i pulled the oil pump and cam out yesterday so she is all set to drop at the machine shop. maybe i will do that next week once i get the mojo, who knows maybe i will toss her back together.

I didn't race at all last year so I'm hoping to run every single QS event

If the car breaks then that might end the season for me

Fuck the race car... Clutch & tires on the Z06! You can play with the boat and the Vette all summer, take your time & have the Race car ready for some cool air in the fall.

This is the gayest thread I have ever read! The smell of Mangina must be sickning in Peabody.

I can understand if lack of money is the reason, I'm refraining from spending anything I don't absoluty to, but luckly for me I can tree the hell out of Don and Anthony, so I shouldn't need to do anything to the car to take them out.

Hell I took up racing cause its a lot cheaper than boating. Lets see put 60 bucks in gas in the car for the weekend or 600 in the boat. Never mind all the beer you drink in a weekend of boating. They both break shit about the same and boat parts are double what car parts cost plus you get 2 motors to fix.

Treeing Don and Anthony aint gonna cut it for ya Vinny --- you got to remember to turn on your nitrous.

Speaking of mangina, Vinny may not have any nitrous to turn on this year!

Or more importantly he needs to learn when to shut it off.
