Camaro peeps aren't snobs, at least in my experience. Personally, I like anything that is fast and not cheesey. The second part eliminates many Corvettes -- the same crowd who is usually the most haughty.

This is why we chose to move back to PA. While you're from outside of Philly, I'm from State College -- the middle of the woods. My fiance's family is around the Pittsburgh area, so that was another part, but this is the only city we figured would be more more down to Earth yet offer us some choice of jobs. I've just had a hard time adjusting. It also doesn't help that I haven't had good luck with my area of work (property management). I did very well down in DC, but there simply aren't the big companies here. I work for a very small one, and I dislike it so much that I enrolled back in school and start September 1st to get my damn degree.

I have only driven through Manassas once, and yes, this appeared to be little Mexico. It's odd when you consider how important it was during the Civil War when compared to what it's turned into. I suppose that since I lived and worked in McLean, I had a different experience with the hispanic population.

You and your boyfriend should consider heading up here. While we are renting just north of the city, we plan on purchasing a home in Cranberry in a couple years (if we stay here). I currently work in Cranberry as well, so if you like what you saw, definitly give it some thought. It's way cheaper to live up here as well.

Sorry, I've been replying with novels. I am just very charged with the whole DC vs. Pittsburgh thing

Well we'd move to PA but I'd have to go where I'm originally from in Chester County BUT it's too cold there and we're trying to move south where there's no snow. Oh and where I was from was.....middle of the woods...near the amish and mennonite in the next nearby Lancaster County. I miss the cheesesteaks!
