THIS EVENT IS FOR ANY GM VEHICLE INCLUDING 2004-2006 GTO’S,ALL F-BODY’S CORVETTES G’8’S AND ANY OTHER NEWER GM PLUS ALL MODERN MOPARS
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND HOPE YOU CAN COME OUT TO ONE OF THE 1ST GOOD EVENTS FOR 2011.

Looks like Atco raised the payouts,added trophies and added semi finals to the event!

This event is really geared mostly towards late model (1997 to present) LSx cars versus modern (2005 to present) Hemi Mopars only, late model cars with late model motors in them.

What safety equipment and personal gear must a car & driver have?
All cars must have a helmet meeting the Snell 2000 (or higher) rating. If the car is faster than 11.50 in the 1/4 mile then it must also have a 5 point roll bar and you must also wear a fire jacket. All drivers of supercharged, turbocharged and nitrous cars must wear a fire jacket regardless of what ET they run.
Running 9s in the 1/4 mile is a whole 'nother set of rules.
What decides the car class(es) besides tires?
Only whether it's a GM (1997 and up) LSx car or a modern (2005 and up) Mopar Hemi V8 car.
Is this for stock vehicles only?
No.

No official rules posted up just yet but I'm quite sure that it will be a very open type of format, meaning that you have (and you do 
) a really really fast LSx (or late model Hemi) car and it meets the general NHRA safety requirements then you're in.
I would like to know if it's going to be bracket style or straight heads up like the QTP Quick Time 8 is, I'm assuming that it's heads up because heads up racing rocks.
