Its a 1998 Z28 with around 120k on it. The car was rear ended and insurance decided to total it. However, the car didnt exchange hands so it remains a clear indiana title.

The rear quarter has some dimpling but not creased from what i can see. The rear bumper and bumper support took most of the damage and the insuance adjuster said there was min frame damage, however i think thats the rear bumper support since there is no frame back there, just some unibody damage.

The engine has "piston slap" common with the 98s, dont know what it is? google it. It was rebuilt by a dealership last year due to it spinning a bearing and marring the crank. So they replaced the crank, new bearings, etc etc.. a whopping $2300 in repair bills.

Also the front passenger wheel is bent. As in not true. It causes a vibration. He was too cheap/lazy to replace it and just drove with it like that for the last 2 years.

This poor fbody was NEVER modded beyond a SLP lid. :( My buddy bought it from an old man with 27k miles on it and has had it since. He put the lid on it and thats it... been a daily driver since then.

Anway, open to negotiate.. I just want it GONE. Could be a cheap vert with a little elbow grease. Replace that bumper, pull the support, and live with or bang out the dent on the quarter and you will have yourself a ellis juan vert to cruise the town.

Being completely honest with myself and our finances means this car just isn't a realistic option anymore. I wish things were different but sadly this is not the case. I know the price is proabbly high but unfortunately I still owe $7200 on the car so I'm already taking a good hit with that.

Info:
The car is a 2002 hardtop Camaro with 101k miles on it and has no power options. No dents or dings except for the front bumper which is spider cracked from previous owner perhaps going through a dip to fast. I made a fiberglass pin-on hood for the car (weighs 16lbs), stock hood goes with it. The interior is perfect and I do mean perfect, no rips/tears, worn spots, cracks, etc. It looks brand new.
The car is in the process of a custom turbo kit. The cold side piping will be done before the car sells so that is included in the asking price. The turbo in the pictures is not included since that was borrowed to mock up the piping, but everything else is included along with a lot of extra (stock) parts.

I won the last event of the year with the car and took 4th in points after making only three out of the five races so the car is perfect for it. Car has been 8.49@160.5 with a dismal 1.28 60’. The cars best passes to date are on boost only. I’ve yet to make a clean pass with the kit. I honestly think the car has a low .30 or high .20 with some limiters and good air. On a W the car consistently went 1.20-.22 with the back tires and a best of 1.14 60’ tripping the beams with the fronts. I didn’t have much testing time on a 28x10.5, but it goes 1.26-.27. I have piles of time slips for the car and would be happy to bring it to the track for a buyer that has cash in hand.

The bad. The car needs to be re-wired as its ugly, but functional. I was going to do the re-wire this winter and still plan to if I have the car long enough. The motor could use a freshen up (rings and bearings) as its starting a puff a bit of smoke. Oil pressure is still great though. The converter is still a bit loose, but I still have a free adjustment. I just haven’t had a chance to take it out of the car and get it taken care of. If someone gives me asking price, I’ll be happy to pull the motor/trans and do the freshen up and send the converter off for you. I’m sure there is stuff I’m leaving out so any questions just ask. I can offer up delivery for a fee as well.

I love this car and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, just looking to get something bigger. Ive driven it pretty much every day since ive gotten it and ive loved every minute of it. Paint and interior id giver her a 9 out of 10. My pup is just getting bigger so i was thinking i could get something bigger. Its never been abused, its still completely stock! Makes for a great DD, the GF is already giving me shit for even thinking of selling her as she loves it more then i do. I mean come on its a luxary 4 door corvette! Plenty of getup to keep the guy happy and lots of luxary to keep her happy... wait, why am i selling again? lol.

Some history:
I got her about a year ago and ive been doing little things since them. Mostly just detailing the paint, blacking out the tail lights (ill probably be doing the front here soon when i get out of school), cleaned up the headlights, removed the front license plate and had the front bumper repainted (GM uses HUGE freakin bolts) and the custom V head rests. And thats pretty much it. Im at the point where ive got the mod bug, so its probaly safer to sell her. lol. If not ill be doing a custom CAI and exhaust and call it a day.

Warranty Info:
Ive NEVER had a problem with the warranty department. 20 min and your in and out, they call you when they determine the problem and when its done... no questions asked.

$100 deductible for the ENTIRE visit... even if its 10 items. Also covers Rental Coverage if they keep your vehicle and you need one to get to work, they pay for the rental. Trip Interruption - If your driving somewhere 100+ miles from home and the car breaks down and they have to keep the vehicle over night, they cover $150 per night that they have the vehicle. Towing and Roadside - they cover towing the vehicle to a shop.

The car has 159k miles but runs like a champ, It ran a best of 13.1 seconds at 109MPH and I am sure with drag radials it would bust into the 12's easy. It is black but the paint on the front bumper is spray painted(doesn't look bad at all) and the rear bumper is spray painted.There are some scratches on some of the interior panels but only in the rear. Overall it is in pretty good shape for the miles and runs great too. I am just looking for something different, so I might be interested in trades or I would take $5000 obo. :cheers:

Only the back end of the car was wrecked. This car would be good if you needed a motor and... I have a 2000 SS Camaro that was wrecked. It has a semi done up motor. The motor has 150k on it. Stage 2 heads, roller rockers, LS6 intake manifold, hooker headers, pully, medium cam. It is also a 6 speed.
