Hey guy's (and gal's)! Though I don't have an LS1 powered vehicle at the moment, I do happen to have a later F-Body that I need a few SLP parts for. I know there are a few other vendors who make similar pieces, but I have to have SLP parts

As it stands right now, the car is bone stock. I don't want to molest it, but what I'm trying to do is to assemble some odd's and ends to put together an SLP Kit, which was a dealer installed option in 1991--and the precursor to the Firehawk, which was released as a 1992 vehicle. My car does NOT have the 1LE option package, and is (again) a stock 1991 Trans Am convertible. There are a surprising lack of options on the car...such as a basic radio, fixed antenna, WS-6 performance package (including a wonder-bar brace), cloth interior, leather wrapped steering wheel/e-brake/shift handle, and a 5-speed manual. The car has some wear, so I would like to find these parts in used or restorable condition. The SLP parts I need are:

-Tube Headers
-Adjustable Torque Arm (part #70803)
-"SLP" Throttle Body Plate.
-I have the Simesed Runner's, but I got them on e-bay and they are kind of beat up pretty bad...meaning I could use them. They aren't prety and fixing them would be more work than it's worth. I could restore them, but if I can find a nicer set, I'd be interested in those as well (part #20004).

Thank you for your time and I'm looking forward to getting to know the site a little better. I've seen a few of the late model T/A's and Camaro's at the local strip and I managed to get my @$$ handed to me in a large bag. I guess my G/P GTP isn't quite up to snuff.

Anyway, I'd love to hear about any de-modification or if you have any of these parts you'd like to sell, feel free to let me know.

One more thing: I did try to post to the WTB section of the classifieds, but was not able to post. :(

Although I do not currently own a Camaro, there is one on the horizon, hopefully for next year. I have my eye on a 2002 black B4C. Back in the very early 80's I owned a bronze '79 Z28. How I miss that car.

But a friend of mine has a Police Car Museum and in there is several B4C Camaros. One in particular I take care of and I show it several times a year around West Central Florida. I have attached pictures.

It is a 1997 B4C Camaro. It is retired from the Pinellas County Sheriffs Office here in Florida. That is the Agency I currently work for. It was used for about 7 years before it was retired. The car is outfitted exactly as it was the day it retired. It is fully marked and outfitted with lights. The only thing it is missing is a radar unit, which I am going to find and put in it and a laptop. I put my patrol laptop in it when I show it.

It won a trophy at the 1st Annual Marion County Sheriffs Office Emergency Vehicle and Hot Rod Show earlier this year. My son and I spent a full day cleaning, washing and waxing the Camaro and his car for the show. I keep it in good shape, but we detailed it really good for the show.

The car is a joy to drive to the shows and gets lots of looks. I have also taken it twice to the Cruise-in at Kissimmee, Florida near Disney and spend hours talking to people about it. It is always a hit there. The European folks really like it a lot.

I have been lurking here for months and particularly like the Appearance and Detailing section. Lots of good information I can use for my take home cruiser and personal cars.

Thanks for looking and I can not wait to get my own Camaro again.

That's me standing next to it at Kissimmee.

The night before the Marion County Show all finished and ready to go.

Another shot. Sorry for the fuzziness. It was a little chilly and I guess I shook when I took the shot.

I'm Tep (short for Stephanie) and I've been lurking for probably about two months unregistered, researching flow on heads and cam information. I finally used all the information I've gathered from here and ported my own 243 heads, TB and LS6 oil pump. Long story short, I have had my WS6 for almost six months now and decided not to waste any time on building it up and I'm removing my engine next Monday to install my H/C/I/Headers.

My car is a 1998 Arctic White WS6. I bought it on 6/19/09 in OKC ... It is a rebuilt car ... I had a TON of repairs that I had to do before I could do anything and it took four months to license it BUT it's pretty awesome now that I don't have to worry about getting pulled over everytime I drive past a cop now

About me ... I'm 22, I graduated automotive school last year and I'm halfway done with high performance tuning and engine building classes. I work for Toyota doing nothing exciting at all. I grew up helping my dad with his Chevelles, Camaros and GTOs ... the only thing I have left to learn is body work. In my spare time, I always find something to do or fix on my car, rebuild dirt bikes/pit bikes, spend time with my man, paint everything, dork out on xbox, learn how to do machining, I love shooting guns and melting over puppies.

So Hi!

I offered him 5 grand he said sure, but I'm not sure how long he can hold onto it.

Should I buy it? btw if you look for cars in zip code 02467 their is absolutely nothing better in that price range, and it looks like a steal for 5 grand imo

Hi everyone,
This summer i purchased an 90% completed twin turbo LS1 project vehicle and am finally getting around to buttoning it up.

I live in PA and in order to get it street worthy i have to make it emissions friendly...i'm hoping someone has their old EGR system that they'd let go cheaply/freely. Its a 98 LS1 that i need it for. I know someone must have one laying around taking up space :)

I know the previous owner/builder was a member here, so some may recognize the truck. Its a 1992 GMC Typhoon, 98 LS1 (lingenfelter/weiand intake, fast tb, fast fuel rails, 60# injs), 4l80e, coilovers, racepak dash, big stuff 3, couple spinny things, and an assortment of other goodies:

A little background on me....if you're familiar with the SyTy scene then you may know me - I'm somewhat prevelant on the SyTy forums (i'm a mod, post whore, etc)...plus i make some parts (aluminum bracketry, sheet metal intakes, etc) and vinyl stickers through my side biz.

I have 3 Typhoons right now, although hoping to slim down that a little and i daily drive an '04 STi for now. I'm sorta a fan of turbo awd.

So can anyone help me in my quest for an inexpensive EGR setup? (it'll be removed after a year anyway)
