Any-one know any good tire mounting places for getting tires mounted on a Z06 and getting it aligned?
Thanks.
Go to Nix& Black on OBT( 441) just south of Hwy 50 to get it aligned, best place in town. I always take my cars to Discount Tire on Sand Lake @ John Young talk to Jerry Norris. He used to run the one on OBT, I`ve gone to him for almost 10 years, he always makes sure your car is done right good prices too.

Thanks. I appreciate the info. Alignment shops (that are good anyway) are hard to find.
Another vote for Discount Tire Company. I've been to the one near Florida Mall on 441 and at the one in Sanford across from Sonny's BBQ. Top notch service each time.

I've always taken my tire mounting to the Apopka Discount Tire because I prefer the Road Force balancing, and they just happened to be one of the first local shops to have it. It's tough to find good help, though. There are a couple of very knowledgeable guys who can professionally whip out short-sidewall, wide tires in a matter of minutes without damaging anything. The high-turnover high-school kiddies working there give me nightmares.
As a matter of fact, DT recommended Nix & Black for my alignment. After speaking with some other folks I remember thinking I'd keep looking. Somehow I got hold of Roberts info and I have not had any reason to second-guess that decision. He doesn't complain about the alignment being outside factory specs, he does his work as efficiently as he can (when not being pestered by me!) and has very competitive rates. I also like not having absurd long wait times.
Jeff McElyea is in the club with Michael Edstrom and myself as well and I've heard nothing but positive comments from him on his visits to TredAlign.
TredAlign is on John Young Parkway, halfway between OBT & Silverstar. If you're coming from Silverstar, go past the Shader stoplight and it'll be your first right - right next to Wingfoot.
