Just got back from the track. I was only able to make one pass and had a few problems. The car went 11.5 @ 125 w/ a 1.71 60ft. The clutch slipped until the top of 1st the when it caught the car spun. I had hell getting it in 3rd gear (Stock t56 w/ spec 3+). On the data logger it looks like probably a half a second trying to get it in gear. But it pulled hard in 3rd and 4th. I picked up 34mph on the big end. I will go back when I have a built trans and a twin disk. I will post a video later.

After 8 pages of reading I can say....wow. I met Josh up at a speed shop in BG a couple years ago when he was talking about doing these and was working on the one on his car.Everything looks good and the AC is just extra weight anyway. The car will be 10's no doubt.

Thanks everyone

No numbers yet, maybe when i get done with this turn around. I can only guess close to 700rwhp.

Trust me Josh a th400 has crossed my mind more than once ever since I saw NicD run that 9.43 with a 76mm. I think I wanna try and do it the hard way the 1st go round. I would be happy with a 9.99 @ 140 +.

My old car did some 9.40's @ 140 with the TC76. The combo you have is capable of the same. The 6 speed is fun though.

Just an update to what I have done so far. I took the car to the again about 2 months ago. With the same slipping clutch but only on 9psi. I was pretty happy with the results. It ran an 11.17 @ 128 w/ a 1.83 60ft. After that I started working on a turn around 7-12s for a month.

A friend of mine rebuilt my trans for free. It only took him about 3 hours total. I can't believe how much the charge on labor to rebuild one, that shit is highway robbery .

I finished installing the clutch yesterday and began on the master cylinder. I got it installed but cannot seem to get it to pressure up and disengage the clutch. I have bled it about 25 times now and still nothing. The same guy that built my transmission said to just keep doing it. That they are hell and take a long time.

I also redid my exhaust since it had crush bends in it and started hitting the floor. I ordered some mandrel bent tubing off ebay. Once I get the cutout wired up I will get a sound clip. But I can tell you that the car is like stock with the cutout closed. You can't even hear the car running will cruising down the highway.

I am hoping to get the master cylinder figured out so I can go the track next weekend.

The master is hell trying to bleed as me and my buddy figured out on his ws6. We bought a hand held vacuum pump and put the line under vacuum to suck out the air from the reservoir. Only used the bleeder underneath to get the majority of the fluid in the line. Once you have done that fill the reservoir up and put the hose from the pump down into the bottom of the reservoir into the line itself and pull 10-15inches. While holding vacuum on it pump the clutch all the way slowly and watch all the air come out into the pump. After pumping for a while release the vacuum and see how it feels. Repeat as many times as necessary witch may be about 10 times. It does work just takes time. Hopefully this helped, its kinda hard to explain.

You did a great job on your car man. I love how your car sounded in that video which im guessing was just out the down pipe. Very aggressive sounding, its what i hope my car sounds like when mine is FI in a few years.

That video was the same setup. The cutout was uncapped, the system had crush bends in it before.

very cool, i plan to dump each down pipe for each turbo out the side of the car right before the rear tire, with a rectangular style tip, i think there called something like boom tubes or something lol. Says there that alot of road cars run i guess and nascar.
