Glad to hear it finally running! Get 'er on the dyno so we can see some wheelspin on the rollers!

Congrats are due! There is NOTHING more nerve-wracking/exciting than starting up a long time and expensive build.

Oh, unless you're on E85, lean that thing out!

That's freakin awesome dude, looks GREAT! Hey, what cam are you running? I notice the idle is above a grand and still surging, sounds like a damn dragster.

The cam is a 238-242 .605-.610 115 lsa.
It does have a pretty good sound to it, but I have just started tuning it. I played with the AFR and VE tables tonight a little, ended up bringing the base fuel pressure down to 30 psi, now it idles in the 14's. Throttle response is awesome, might even take it around the block tomorrow.

Congrats!!! I cant wait to see what she puts down. I just happen to be building the EXACT same setup as you, 370 with L92's and a 4788, pistons and all except the crazy kick ass looking manifolds lol. When I found your car on here I was pumped to see what she will do!!! Im about 2 months out from getting mine rolling so you better believe I will be watching! Congrats again and good luck and keep us up to date!

Damn, that cam does sound good! Mine is like 232/236 on a 114, might need to go a HAIR bigger down the road since it's in a 408, we'll see. Can't wait to see what that sucker puts down!

Bad ass Bro. Glad to see its getting so close.

After ya get the Rad. setup done.. let her idle for awhile...... im wondering how the heat will do close to the hood.... might have to put some heat protector on the hood....

I agree, with mine I enver left the hood closed after I had been driving I slowly warmed up to the idea of closing it since there was alot of hot parts near. of course I have a fiberglass hood on a C4 corvette so.. just be weary of it for the first little bit!

Yeah we tested it a bit when we first fabbed the turbo kit, but we never got it glowing red hot. I will keep an eye on it. The WS6 hood has a bunch of room. Getting ready to take it for a spin right now.

Shakedown drive went well! The alternator is not working, so I need to figure that out. Coolant temps averaged 183*, and never got hotter than 195*.
The datalogs show boost spikes of 9.5 psi, with average around 7 psi. I have a 7.5 psi spring in the gate, so that seems right. I wanted to try it out on the wastegate only before I hook up the Eboost2.
The sound and power is awesome!
I still need to hook up the Norris Motorsports catch can and do a little tuning before I hit the dyno. This thing is an animal!!!!!

Still having alternator issues, I think the regulator is out of it, so new one will take a few days to get. I took it down the road and back this morning, cold start is getting better, didn't even stall. I never saw more then 4000 rpm for a second or 2 and boost was coming up quick at part throttle (5-7 psi), the tires just went up instantly and the car wanted to dance. Just babying the throttle. Sticky tires will be a must before any kind of full throttle testing! You have to love the sound of a turbo spooling and a blow off valve, especially at 7:30 a.m.
