Just curious to what exhaust high hp turbo cars run so that you don't totally choke out your engine or create too much back pressure.I know dumps or cut outs are the only way to go, but wondering about full exhaust. Mufflex is the only one i've really seen that is pretty open, but i don't like how its not stainless. Also i was thinking of having custom stainless dual 3.5 inch exhaust bent that way each turbo would have its own bank to flow through. Thanks for your input guys.

Single 88mm before and 91mm now. 5" off the turbo stepped to 4". 4" all the way back to right before the rearend and dumped...... 4" Dynomax Bullet muffler.

Just a couple mods for this one.. I swear
Single 3.5" from Mufflex, but with a Magnaflow 3.5" muffler. If you run a Flowmaster, Aerochamber, or Spintech muffler, you'll have a lot of backpressure and need a cutout. If you run a good enough muffler like the Magnaflow, no need for the cutout.

Thanks guys I guess ill think about doing 3.5 stainless all the way back and dumped before the axle. How much louder on average is it that my current setup. I have pacetter longtubes with a ory and slp lm1 exhuast and cam. I like my cars loud lol, and i love the slp sound. The dynomax bullets ive heard are very quiet. Would A borla xr1 muffler welded on each side be to constrictive?

I heard a borla xr1 car at the shop but the mufflers where all the way in the back tuck under the rear bumper very close to the tips. This was on a true dual setup and it was deep at Idle.

If you want it that loud dont run mufflers. The turbo muffles the exhaust.
Yea i was actually thinking the same thing that the turbo alone would muffle the exhaust enough to where i wouldn't want to run a mufflers. Thanks for your idea. if anyone has any exhaust clips with a front turbo setup id love to hear them. I wouldnt mind to hear sts setups but i know they will sound totally different then mine since the turbo is so close to the exhaust.

i run a 4" from dump to 4" magnaflow then dump to the ground, loud, but not anoying! magnaflow mufflers are good like that, still keep the sound, yet sound nice

The sts run no muffler and they aren't too loud.
I am running a hooker ypipe with single cutout in the intermediate pipe. See how that works when get some dynos next season. Its still pretty loud I think with the cutout open the turbos don't seem to really cut the noise down that much on my car .
