They definitely can support some power, we will see how durable they are though.

Chris, glad to see everything came together! Congrats, I know the feeling of a build coming together after a year of saving, earning, and bleeding for the project. Results like this sure make it seem worthwhile!

Can't wait to see the big boost runs

Congrats!
Killer power on low boost and a loose converter!
The car is going to be a beast for sure.

Best of luck to ya!

Those resulst on 13ish lbs of boost is awesome. What converter do you have in there that makes it non optimal? If you change to a converter that's setup for what you have you will see a humongous change. Were you icing the intercooler on each run of just going with water? If water did you have a temp on it before / after?

It is a "TCI heavy duty 10" racing converter, expect around 4000 rpm stall" is what Jegs description says. A custom converter will go in after I get the 9" in it.
No ice in the water tank, just 50/50 water antifreeze, I checked the water after the pulls,it was not even warm. IAT's were 60-65*, outside temps were around 55*. I am very happy with the I/C setup. 2 core custom I/C, Ron Davis front mount heat exchanger, 7.6 gallon water tank mounted in the rear hatch, and a Mezeire WP136 pump.

Going to load up the E85, and try it again. May up the boost and the timing. Should hit 1000 if the converter will hold it.

Um, you are running a converter from Jegs? That thing may be designed for 500hp. Contact PTC.

Very nice numbers though! I have a feeling that was pretty comparable to our setup number wise but we never dyno'd it with the GT47-88 (or at all for that matter).

No it is a heavy duty TCI part number 242200, that i quoted the description from Jegs. It is not your average Street Fighter stall or anything. It is definitely not the hot ticket for turbo, but the custom converter will follow the new 9" etc...
