Default Twin Turbo LS1 Skyline.

Was messing around the other day and found this. Kinda unique I think. Wouldn't want the car just the engine!

Very clean setup, but I would rather have the car with the original engine. Worth a lot more, plus you still have awd.

Yeah true about awd but I would not care. No one ever runs from a dig anymore on the street. With that power it would not matter anyways.

While cool. It's a shame they did that to the car. The OEM engine is plenty capable of making ridiculous power and overall it ruins the car.

I think it's pretty cool. They can always put a stock motor back in it...

Drifting is a blast but it's another shame the car is used mainly for that...

More pics of it are here...

Interesting but I am not sure it is my cup of tea. Even though it looks like a good quality build, it still looks like a ricer mobile.

i am sry but a 2.6 liter inline six will never have the same potential as a big ci v8. not to mention the turbo lag you will have compare to a turbo v8.

I don't think he was stating that the 6 cylinder had more potential. Just stating the fact that they have great potential... And they do!

Definately.

For a 2.6L Inline 6, the RB26DETT had a shit ton of potential.

They can make over 500hp in factory form with a pair of bigger turbo's and some supporting mods (Injectors, power FC etc)

Japan spec, the LS would be a LS57ETT they got in there

thats kind of an ignorant statement...

Did you know that skylines and supra have been known to have over 900hp with stock internals and block? They also have very strong trannys and rear ends. thats a lot more than our 10 bolts and failure prone 4l60e's

you need to read up on the 09 skylines tranny. they can handle more power then the 4l60e, but they fail and is 20k to fix it.

there is no replacement for displacement. you will always make more power with the bigger motor, but if your goals are around 900 max hp then keep the stock block in there

Huh? I don;t know about your neck of the woods but if you come out to our street you better be ready to run from a dig or you get to sit there and watch the big boys go at it
