Default Is this cam good for a turbo 5.3?

Hey guys, I know this subject is brought up all the time, but I was wondering if this is a good cam to put in my 5.3 in my regal. The specs are 220/220 .581/.581 114 lsa, My goal for the car is over 500whp on pump gas with either the mp70 or mp76 (Im still trying to figure out what one is better for the 5.3) The car is mainly going to be a track car, so daily driveability isnt a factor.
Any help will be great!

Thanks

Yes you should easily accomplish your goals with that cam, should work well.

Would a 2002+ Z06 cam work well for those goals? If so, it would likely be more streetable off-boost (90% of your driving). I konw the 5.7l and the 6.0l giuys like the Z06 cams but I haven't heard too much about using one is a 5.3l

Should be about as big as you would want to go with stock heads.
I was going to run a .560 lift cam 114lsa with a stock head 5.3 and pt76. I changed directions and sold the 5.3 though.

sorry i should of elaborated, Im running a set of ported 241 heads with prc valve springs

so do you guys think this a good cam then or could i go a little bigger? Im not limiting myself to the 500whp mark, I just want to be saft with the stock bottom end. I plan on running 12 psi with the mp 70 turbo with .96ar, which should put me over the 500whp mark I hope.

Thanks

It would be perfectly streetable. I have a 224/224 .581/.581 112 in my 5.3 and mine is smooth and drives like a dream.

I'm not a cam expert but I went with a 600 lift cam on my ls1 with ported heads that have bigger valves. I was told that was as big as I would want to go unless I was going to turn some really big RPMs.
You don't really need big rpms with your turbo choice and it should live longer keeping the revs down, not that that cam wouldn't turn some high RPMs.
