There is definitely a huge difference between footbrake + as much gas as you can go before it pulls vs footbrake + 2/3 step. 2/3 step and WOT will build boost way quicker.

i have a lingenfelter 2 step with timing retard and a stock pcm. how could i add timing to build boost? anyone know a trick

You want to retard the timing to build more boost. At a set rpm the more retard = + psi

That is correct if you have a manual trans, he has a Auto so he needs to ADD timing.

Your lingenfelter 2 step should have a retard function that can be setup to work while on the brake... IF not you can send your lingenfelter 2 step in for an update (not sure on extra expense).

yeah i have the retard function. but i dont have the advance function. being an auto most say ad timing. is it possible?

My 2-step is built in to the Big Stuff 3, and has full control over timing when engaged.
