Just got done playing with the car....
I first started with the 2 step set to 4000 rpm,
It would take about 1.3 seconds to hit the limiter, reviewing the tell tale and it was 9.5 psi!
I backed the 2 step down to 3000 rpm and same deal , just over a second and it was 5.8 psi.
These were quick stabs, I don't want to be on the brake more then a second or two.
Starting line timing was set at 35* via BS3.
This new PTC converter is awesome, they seemed to nail it the first time.
Going to the track on Sunday, weather is supposed to be perfect. It is a race weekend with Pro-Mods and Outlaw 10.5 on Saturday, so the track should be well prepped.
Curious to see how much boost I will be able to leave the line with.
I can't wait!
I am using the Lingenfelter box at have it set at 2800 which gets me to 4 pounds for launch. (Have to work on suspension to launch with more)
Also, it used to take 2.5 sec to get to 4 pound, I now pull 6 degrees with the box and get to 4 pound in .6 secs.

Looks like your car is a manual...

2 step for now, I plan on sending the box to John for the 3 step and other upgrade down the road.
I was going to try to footbrake until staged, and go to trans brake and 2 step when the yellows start coming down.
I would be happy as hell if the track would hold at least 10 psi.
Not yet, getting ready to order a full set of Afco's, I have access to scales though.
I will at least be able to weigh it this weekend.
And individual next week.
Honestly, I would scale it before you hit the track if you can. Depending on F/R, you may be able to add a bag of concrete here or there to make the most of your track day.

Good luck at the track, 10psi launches are going to be a blast!
I'm still a month away from getting mine on the road.
I've been suffering from bdd, (boost defecit disorder) lol...
did you try to hold it back with the 2 step and no trans brake at 2400 or whenever you said it started moving? I ask because Ive got bs3 and no brake and i was wondering if the 2 step would make much of a difference foot braking. seems like it would build boost faster if you could open up the throttle blade all the way sitting at the line.
Honestly I have not tried that with this tighter converter. But I did try that out with the older looser converter I had. It would build 4 psi or so with the 2-step and brake torquing it. I never tried it at the track, but it would work if you did not have a t-brake.
Remember to add timing while on the 2-step with an automatic car. 35-40* seems to work well.
I am getting ready to head to the track, hopefully have some good news to report back tonight.
should be fun as hell if the track will hold it...cant wait to see some 2 step videos from ya after seeing that dyno pull vid...good luck man, great car...
