Ok maybe call speed inc and check on that .If can have the stock ecu to output data and run the stock data that would be great. And also wondering if it can control my planned 4l80e? Didn't want to go manual valve body.

How are those tires at higher speeds on the street? What gears are you running? What stall?

Video is great. Now need some incar and some street...in Mexico videos! Something that will really give a feel for how fast that beast is..like a flyby or something to give sense of speed. You make that 9s pass look easy! LOL

Yes it can control the 4L80E, the only problem is the price starts getting up there quite high when the options go on. Keep that in mind.
Just switched from 3.42's to 3.0 gears, it is a PTC custom converter. The tires are great, I run the pressure a bit higher in them on the street, obviously.
I would like to look into an in car camera mount, that would give some good footage.

So was wheelspin an issue with the 3.42s or you just wanted the 3.0 so you could stay out of overdrive going thru the traps? Seems to sort of throw the sidewall theory out the window since you are doing so good on 18 inch tires.

Good to hear can run the 4l80e with it but as you said need to see how much the add ons are. A key thing to me is if you can still get obd2 diagnostics happening by daisy chaining the factory ecu ,we have no emmissions testing here yet but might sooner or later. So the only way to monitor things from the big stuff currently is by laptop. So none of the factory guages work..? Does speedo and tach work at least? Fuel guage? What does or doesn't work?

Wheelspin was not the reason to change the gears. It is a TH400 so no OD. I wanted toload the turbo more for quicker spool, which it seems to work. I am happy with them so far.
I run all autometer gauges so I don't know what the deal is with the factory gauges, though I know people have made them work.

I ordered the shocks from Madman yesterday. Should have them by Wednesday. I must say they went above and beyond to take care of me. Big thumbs up.
I went with Afco's T2 Double adjustable all the way around...
3870F/BNC coil overs up front and 3870R in the rear with lower shock relocation brackets and stock springs.
Going to try and get to the track again this weekend to see if we can whittle it down further.

Good runs! I am thinking about ditching my 3.42s as well and going to something closer to a 3.00 to bring the revs down a bit at cruise on the freeway.

Thanks guys! My goal is to max out the cert on the cage which is 8.50's. It is mostly going to be in the front half, and a couple more pounds of boost should put me right where I need to be mph wise.
Parachute order is coming together as well as the final bits to be fully NHRA legal.

Congrats on the awesome runs!
I was chomping at the bit to see what your results would be since our engines are so similar.
I am very impressed to say the least!
Good luck getting the 1/8 mile down with the chassis improvements.
8's are right around the corner!

We have very similar ET goals, but I am cheating a bit by shaving a ton of weight out of the car. I am hoping to be less than 3,200lbs with me in it.

BTW- What did your car weigh at the track?

Jim
