Default My 91mm turbo kit

finished assembling my engine today and got it ready to put back in the car. I thought I would mock up the turbo kit to see what it looked like without the car in the way
The turbo is a garret 91.5 mm TIAL 60MM WASTE GATE AND 50MM Bov
410 ci iron block with TEA stage 3 heads, Rossler power glide with a Neil Chance converter. Installed the 10 pt cage last weekend
Big thanks to my sponsor Shearer Fabrications

I usually don't post compliments, but you have a VERY NICE setup. Can't wait to see more of it.

Very nice. It's gotta be tight once in the car though.

If I rem correct your the guy that shaved down the hotside of the turbo housing correct? I am interested to really see how that plays out.

Ok ya you are.

Let me know how that works out. Interested if the heating cycle is going to crack it.

Looks good. Can you change plugs on the drivers side without pulling the header (when its in the car)?

Thqat will haul the mail even running bad. Nice work. Watch out for the coolant line though.....that looks like it might be trouble right above the exhuast. Maybe weld on a hard extention, looks like coupler might hate life there.

The plugs on the drivers side are a breeze from the bottom. All the room in the world.
The radiator line are stainless hard lines and all the hotside will be coated. I wont be starting it without the coatings.
There are alot of odds and ends to go. It is really in the early stages. I have at least 4-6 weeks before it will start up.
Thanks for all the kind words!

That's very nice looking turbo setup.

Who built it? What size is that IC, 5" thick?
