Default Gforce Engineering's GTO Turbo build

I wasnt going to do the turbo build thread thing but some of the vendors that make the parts I'll be using twisted my arm so here it is.

It wont be a real fast build as I have been swamped so I'll be farming some of the work out so I can get it done this summer.
I not only have a turbo system to fab up but I also have to start from scratch on a new engine after grenading it this spring.
This build is the reason I have started the big 33 spline spool and stub product line. I'll need them when I try putting 1300+ hp to the ground.

First stop is Holzman Racecars in Wichita KS for the parachute, front and mid motor plates and some misc fab work.
Holzman is also helping us with the development work on the tubular suspension parts.

Here are the plans.

ez94x billet turbo form Forced Inductions www.forcedinductions.com

twin 50mm bov's from Turbo Smart (Forced Inductions is a dealer)

64 mm Turbo Smart waste gate

Edelbrock Super Victor intake

427 ci engine (Either ERL or LSx block), 235 Trick Flow heads, Oliver billet rods, Callies Dragon slayer crank, Wiseco turbo pistons.

Aeromotive Belt drive fuel pump

The car will also be going on a major diet getting a Gforce Engineering tubular front k-member, coil overs all the way around, Gforce Engineering manual steering kit, Rocksand Racing manual brake kit, Gforce Engineering rear tubular cradle, Gforce Engineering tubular rear control arms and some other light weight suspension pieces.

Edelbrock sent me a Jr instead of a Super Victor so this one is for sale

First on the removal list is the ABS system and those dam pesky brake lines

Holzman Racecars got a good start on the motor plates today.
Went with the new Comp Engineering front and mid plates.

Our Billet EZ94X should easily take you to your goal. That turbo is sick...

One of our customers that runs ORSCA EZ street, won last weekend with that turbo. Great unit and makes big power....he's not even pushed it all the way yet.

Got the chute mount pretty much done today. I'll throw some pics up later.

Next is the mini tubs and reworking the rear control arms to use hiem ends, replacing some of the heavy arm with tubing so we can run a 325 drag radial.
Going to also install some double adjustable QA1 coil overs on the back and get rid of the coil springs and drag bags.
This stuff will later be available from us in a kit form of course

They are Bogarts, not cheap but very good quality and light weight.

Havent gotten much of the turbo work done yet, still doing the chassis mods for larger tires and beefing everything up to hold 1300+hp.

Got the rear control arms modified to accept a 325 drag radial (after a mini tub).
I'll also be switching to a double adjustable set of Strange Engineering coil overs.
By doing the tubular arm and the hiem joint position at an angle in the bracket, you'll gain about 2" of tire clearance.

The control arm you see here still has the coil spring mount. The ones I will be running will not have the coil spring mount.

Here is what we are doing for the mini tub.
We pretty much went with the largest mini tub possible, clear to the frame.
We took out the coil spring mount too.
This is the biggest mini tub you can do without cutting into the frame rails.
