I wasnt going to do the turbo build thread thing but some of the vendors that make the parts I'll be using twisted my arm so here it is.
It wont be a real fast build as I have been swamped so I'll be farming some of the work out so I can get it done this summer.
I not only have a turbo system to fab up but I also have to start from scratch on a new engine after grenading it this spring.
This build is the reason I have started the big 33 spline spool and stub product line. I'll need them when I try putting 1300+ hp to the ground.
First stop is Holzman Racecars in Wichita KS for the parachute, front and mid motor plates and some misc fab work.
Holzman is also helping us with the development work on the tubular suspension parts.
Here are the plans.
ez94x billet turbo form Forced Inductions
www.forcedinductions.com
twin 50mm bov's from Turbo Smart (Forced Inductions is a dealer)
64 mm Turbo Smart waste gate
Edelbrock Super Victor intake
427 ci engine (Either ERL or LSx block), 235 Trick Flow heads, Oliver billet rods, Callies Dragon slayer crank, Wiseco turbo pistons.
Aeromotive Belt drive fuel pump
The car will also be going on a major diet getting a Gforce Engineering tubular front k-member, coil overs all the way around, Gforce Engineering manual steering kit, Rocksand Racing manual brake kit, Gforce Engineering rear tubular cradle, Gforce Engineering tubular rear control arms and some other light weight suspension pieces.
Edelbrock sent me a Jr instead of a Super Victor so this one is for sale
First on the removal list is the ABS system and those dam pesky brake lines
Holzman Racecars got a good start on the motor plates today.
Went with the new Comp Engineering front and mid plates.
