an S88 or GT4788. Anybody got any input as to which one is better/ more preferred?

I thought against the pt88 because of the t4 flange being restrictive. Is the pt91 also a t4? Or can you order either with a t6 flange?

A PT88 will spool slower than a GT4788 and make less power, and less than an S88 also. PT91 isnt a bad turbo, but he doesnt need a thumper to make his power goals on a 402.

How much of a price difference is there between the gt and the s88? Reliability wise either one? ScorpoinT thanks for the help so far. Just trying to find out which one to order and who through. What about BOV and WG?

I thought that all pt88's were .96 A/R t4's. Mine is.

thats what I have heard. t4 flange is restrictive. the other two turbos are t6 flanges. Just wondering about price between the two and longevity. Still wondering what bov and wg to run though...

PT88 is T4 and GT88 is T6. No relation in power though....as the GT88 will make ALOT more power. Spool up is almost identical if not better with the GT.

Both are great and will take serious beating. We carry everything pretty much....if its a Garrett, BW, Tnetics, PTE, Holset, IHI.....etc
