I'm definetly going to be doing this. I was told about it on Monday and the upgrade price is...........well............EXTREMELY low. Can't wait to see your results MM.

I have a similar question to a previous poster......why not run a T6 91mm Dave? Don't a couple manufactures make them in mid frame housings?
In theory, the reason to retain the T4 flange, is to unbolt your PT88, swap the compressor and cartridge and bolt it right back in. I think he said it will produce an extra 30 or so lb/min over the PT88.

i cant recall the specs on the turbo, all i know is it is long awaited!
im gonna try to have numbers from it dyno/track by the end of november.
heads are off the car at all pro right now.
a T6 can't fit on my turbo system.. as big as this one looks if you ever see a full frame turbo they are significantly larger. lots of guys start out with have t4 kits and end up needing to push it to the max, this would be that type of situation
From what I understand This T4 91mm will reach full boost by 4000rpm. That is very aggressive for a turbo of this nature. We are still tossing around the idea of using this turbo on a 9.5:1 347ci setup in my new shop car and playing around with some 275 Radial stuff.
I still think Twin ProMod 71's would be more fun on a 3xxci ERL Based engine...

You need the new GTX-42 billet 71's. We are working on getting them done for release next month. Will make 100hp more then the current 70 and 71's.

Fixed it for ya! Twin 71s would be very interesting.
Dave,
When you going to have this setup up and running?

how much will you have to change your cold side tubing? how much further is the outlet vs the PT88
I havent rulled VA Speed out for the engine eigther Phil. Shawn is knocking out some wild stuff as of late. I dont plan to get as serious as you and FireBall. This will be a weekend toy True Street Style build.
Turbine wheel looks way bigger than the PT88. I heard of someone recently doing a GT47 turbine wheel in a t4 footprint housing; is that what you have?
The GT47 turbine wheel is actually smaller then the current PT88 turbine wheel. The turbine wheel used in the 91 is actually the same size turbine as the PT88.
