if you want more pics of the log i will get them. and for you guys flipping truck manifolds upside down. ford spark plug ends on the stock wires seem to work so far. 135* i think.

Hahaha I threaten to do this to my GN all the time!

Just got a new 200R from CK, and a PTC converter though

Could have spent that 2500$ on a 6.0 swap with a 4l80! lol

this ones not even close to driveable yet so i don't have the which one to drive dilema with it. however the 68' 455 skylark and gn debate goes on daily in the summer. btw in upstate ny we only get maybe 7 months to drive our summer cars. i got more done today

fuel rails
bov and iat mounted in cold pipe.

still need to get filter tubing figured out. i was going to put it where stock battery goes as you can pick battery sides on g-bodys. but turbo out let took precidence.
promise more pics this week.

I did a $600 (yes, well, $800 if you include the injectors) build on my wannabe grand national and got just shy of 600hp. I used a 3800s2 and a truck turbo.

just figured i would follow up on this a year later. i am under budget and have only a few details to sort out.this thing is amazing. anybody considering a swap, especially a turbo swap should just do it. if i mat it at 50mph it kicks down a gear or two, spools instantly and makes gobs of tire smoke. yee haw.

Come on man I(WE) need more pictures of the over all car. Im really intereseted in pictures of the piping in front of the radiator and what did you use for a I/C, turbo log and engine mounts. What tranny are you using?

Building a 87 GN LY6/T76 and 4l80E as we speak. Just sold the new pick up so i got an extra $700 a month so save up and finish the build

do you have any more pics to show how you ran the plug wires on the drivers side with the original manifold and those ford ends you talked about, im using manifolds on both sides(putting twins on) and it looks like a PITA to run those wires. was thinking of using the old style vortec plug wires and running them over the manifold with the extra length but the original way would look cleaner.
