hey Arun,

I have a 4" cobrahead right now, that can suck closed under boost, if i could get a 4" steel elbow to fit, it would be a smooth curve of the air to flow other then the cobra head...

the walker 90 would need fab work it is tight in there....

During testing we managed to suck shut a 4" elbow that was a 5ply which was a little thicker then 1/4" of silicon. This was at about 9psi on a car with a 3.2" pully i belive. I think the rubber peice would do just the same. What we need is a cobra head in plastic.

I bought the cobra head but I haven't installed it yet. With 22 psi, I think that it'll get sucked closed pretty quickly. I was kind of bummed out when I received the cobra head... it's too flimsy. Make that thing out of plastic and we have a winner.

Ditto...I bought the 4" inlet size and was very disappointed when I opened the box. I haven't found anything yet that works like I want it to. Everything seems to be too restrictive except for my "temporary" fix below. If someone could fab up the Cobra Hat in Aluminum that would be the ticket. I do have someone looking into that right now.

I hear there is a "Donut" out there that works for very limited, space challenged, guys like us that have decided to keep their A/C and run a fan shroud. I've kicked the bottom of my radiator/fan/condensor assembly as far forward as I can but still can't find anything I can use that doesn't restrict air flow...heres a pic of how tight everything is...tried a 4" aluminum elbow cut down with no luck, ATI's heavy, wire re-enforced duct directly off the blower (collapsed on itself under boost) so I think we all need to put our heads together and come up with a solution without killing our air flow and resulting in lower boost levels...

I have an LT1 and there is a little more room than an LS1. I had a tube fabricated, but it is a little bit restrictive... 6 psi to be exact.

What did you use for your "temporary" fix?

Would an HKS Mushroom style filter fit in there ??? HKS Super Mega Flow

They dont look as if they flow that well, but there are plenty of skylines and Supras that use them to good effect.

The larger version is 8" diameter, and can be had with a variety of mouth sizes, and would be about 3" tall.
it could maybe mount directly onto the blower ?

http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=788

I used to use a couple ages ago on my old Rover V8 twin turbo.
