that's the beauty of it, by lowering the whole cradle, none of the relationships of any of the components has changed. Ground clearence is the same, the location of everything that mounts to the K member is the same. The only thing that has changed is there is 1/2" less downward travel on the front shocks. That's actually a good thing for a drag setup, you don't have to lift the front end as high to get the wheels off the ground

this is something my dad would be really interested in. Especially since he been driving my car. I always wondered if someone would just drop the k or use a shorter mount of some kind. Lifting serveral of my trucks understanding what you have done is really a pretty simple deal. I definitly gonna watch this.

Could one of those flow enough air to power a 402 a4 car to 750ish rwhp?

When I talked with magnasum about 6 months ago they said there was a planned kit for the f body and that they were working on a blower that was lower profile, and so would'nt require any cutting. They said they were finishing other kits for nwer cars before starting on this project. They seemed pretty serious about it and said they considered it before but now they wanted to get a kit going. Fast forward a few months and they changed their minds telling me that they had started working on a kit but the amount of money to make the kit wasn't worth it since they wouldn't sell enough on such an old car and the price of the kit would be high. So I guess it all comes down to money with some of these companies.
Its great there will be a kit with a price thats affordable.

Here are a few more pics showing closeup of the firewall mod, and some external shots showing that the ride height and ground clearence are un-affected.

I'm hoping to have dyno shets and track times for sure this week. Stay tuned

That looks like a scarey storm comming up on you in that last car picture!!

Guys i got to take a drive in this car and i love it. Ed did a very good job of putting everything into reality. Im positive that others will be very happy with the performance of the kit and the Ease of installation will be perfected im sure. Ed has always taken care of me thru the 11 or so years i have known him and Customer service and quality are 2 things that he has always shown.. Good luck with your New shop, Im sure it will do very very well and thanks again for the ride, it was a blast. I will be getting one for my transam shortly.

For some reason I was thinking Muncie was closer to Decatur, I won't have the time on Monday to see it. I might meet up with you sometime in the spring though. I won't be able to do a kit like this until I get out of school in two years, but it'd still be nice to see the car in person.

I just put a radix(mp112) on my truck and it's a blast now. With only the mods in my sig and a removed headlight(for more airflow) my 5300+lb truck is running low 13's with this blower. I can't even imagine what it would be like on a Fbody weighing in at almost 2000lbs less. WOW!! The nicest thing about my truck is it feels nearly stock just cruising but, give it just a little gas and it comes alive QUICK!!

Ed, congrats on this setup. I think you have a winner on your hands here.

I'm taking it to Muncie Wednesday for GE's track day, I should have some good timeslips, and hopefully a video then. I'm dynoing it tomorrow, and I'll post a sheet when I finish.

Thanks Tom!

I know I won't see the 9.93 that you did, but if I get anywhere in the 11's, I'll consider it a success!
