Nice BUILD...have a quick question for you guys. Does your Tranny run via micro squirt or mega squirt. Also you do the MS setup to run your tranny yourself or did you get it from DYIAUTOTUNE.COM ready to run your 4L80E. I'm just trying to run the same tranny and I'm looking for different ideas. I already have MSII to run the fuel and spark.... now I want to see if I could run the Tranny with what I have...

Thanxxxxxxxxxxxxx

we are using a micro squirt. i didn't do that part of the project but i am pretty sure there isn't anything you can mod in a micro squirt.

seems like i was told you can run a ms2 to do the tranny but i dont think you can run the engine and tranny with just one ms2.

First let me say nice build! Now for the bad news. With the turbos at that angle your gona have issues with oil filling up the ex side. Bearing housings will fill with oil then puke past the piston ring on turbine shaft. Turbos need to be mounted level. Just my 2 cents.

we have been running it all year like this. 6 or so trips to the local track driving it there and then making 8 or so runs each time. then a 1300mile road trip hitting the track 6 times and making about 40 runs. then there is the dyno time.

no issues yet.

i have seen more and more turbos mounted at angles lately.

Yes do the shift kit. You will burn up 3rd over 500hp otherwise.

with just a shift kit i ran for a long time in my blue truck at around 600rwhp. the wagon is at 600rwhp on a mustang dyno and doing well with just a shift kit.

wagon has a vacuum modulator for line pressure too but i dont think this is needed as long as things are programed right.

Exactly. A TG -2 kit dual feeds 3rd gear, otherwise the directs burn up.
