Default Dimensions of PT74/PT76 ?? Also, GTQ wheel ?

Does anyone know of any drawings with dimensions for these turbos? I've found them for big Thumpers on Turbonetics site but, nothing for this size turbo.

One other thing. I just recently read that a 76 with GTQ wheel can support 1100hp. What about a 74 with this wheel, 900-1000? A smaller turbo with big potential should make for a crazy ride. Plus, they're not that exspensive.

If anyone has a 76 laying around and could snap some pictures with a ruler in them for scale that would be great. Email is xlr8nss@bellatlantic.net

Just thinking out loud.

John

honestly, one the best fastest spooling street turbos is the PTE 67 with the optional GT-Q wheel. With the better flowing GT-Q it can make every bit of 800fwhp and it will spool like a 62 series. The turbo buick guys are loving them

About your original question: Are you talking about wheel diameters or are you talking about the compressor housing diameter?

Hey Jimmy

I was wondering about overall housing dimensions. On page 60 of this .pdf file they give dimensions for a Thumper. I would like to find something like this if possible for the size turbos I mentioned above.

Any of the overall outside dimensions would be helpful.

The two turbos I mentioned above should spool pretty quick on a properly tuned V8 shouldn't they, especially in a single turbo application?

Thanks

John

Thanks smokinHawk. I couldn't read the tape measure in your avatar, damn 60*60 limit. You wouldn't happen to have a picture of the turbo from the side would you?

Jimmy - Thanks

John
