No sir, not while running 30lbs of boost with the 106mm. We might once we push this 114mm to its limits!

Trust me, its a great feeling after running a sub 7 second pass, then come back to the pits and grab the overflow to realize its empty. Back in 05 we would make a high 7 second pass and you could gaurantee it pushed over a gallon of water. You got to love this new LSX block!

You would be looking at somewhere around $8K for the shortblock. We have built several LSX longblocks(intake to pan) capable of holding 2000+hp that were anywhere from $19K-29K depending on which oiling system and ignition system you choose.

I would hope they wont go to alky. Why change everything up to slow down? Gas is still way faster and easier to tune.

I have to agree with you with, only because of VP'S Q16 fuel. That stuff is bad. I dont know that we would slow down but alky is definatley harder to tune and alot harder on parts. All it take is an air change to go unaccounted for and poof. I have had discusions with Steve Petty and even he thinks Q16 is the way to go.

Without a doubt its still the way to go IMO..I know alky is easier to plumb and its lighter, but i know of guys that switched to alky and now have put them back on gas. They tore up alot of parts trying to learn. Good luck to you guys this weekend at the TT5 race.
