redid my intercooler water system for cheap i got 200 wrapped up in everything, very satisfied
not sure why i dont see a lot of people using poly tanks.. but i figure they dont make aluminum drink coolers for a reason
sure the plumbing parts look a little funny, but 25 bux for all fittings is much more attractive than 25 bux for EACH fitting.
i put a union on the return line so i can unhook and throw it over the side of the car to pump all the water out easily.
the hardest part was finding the magical spot to send the hoses through the firewall
action vid will make you want to pee!
http://upload.streetfire.net/video/i...ank_186951.htm
plan was so i can pull all the junk out of the cab of the car in about 5 minutes all the way up to the firewall, and cap off the water that is in the front half for street driving

-can take the 30# out of the car when street driving in 5 minutes
-has 2 gallons (roughly) more capacity
-has bigger mouth, easier to fill with ice
-has higher flowing pump, bilge style vs self priming (also draws less amps)
-happens to be quieter
-can refill with ice or water without popping the hood (against rules in some classes)
-plastic insulates the ice better than aluminum tank
-ice lasts longer sitting in cabin vs under hood

Dave its alright to post where you got it from if sponsors here don't carry the same or like item.
Parker hose and steel fittings? I used that stuff for my fuel system....saved a ton over SS line and aluminum fittings.
Lookin good

it's quiet with the lid on, but when it's open, it sounds like a toilet at the bottom of a flush
Very cleanly done though.

Similar setup I am putting together but using a Jazzy 3 gallon cell in the back and common hose with a 3 way valve for inlet and outlet to the stock reservoir.
