Default E85 & steel gas tank

Anyone hear of any adverse affects of using E85 with a stock steel 94 tank? Or does anyone have 99-02 plastic tank they want to get rid of?

I would use the steel tank since you already have it.
I tested various metals and hoses in E85 for a year and did not see any corrosion to speak of.
There is a lot of hype behind using E85, and we all know opinions are just like a certain part of the anatomy....
As long as the fuel system is sealed to prevent moisture during storage,
I am sure you will be fine!
I will running E85 in the months to come, and have no worries of the corrosion issues.
My anticipated power will probably be in the same range as you, so I don't think the fuel will be in the tank long enough to absorb any moisture.
