Truck rearend?

I've got an Eaton Posi left over that was never installed in my truck before I got T-boned... T/A doesnt have Posi

will the unit work in the car or are they totally different?

What rearend did the truck have? if it was a 7.5 10 bolt then yes, but I think most trucks had the 8.2 10 bolt? if so then no.

If it was a 7.5 they had 2 different carriers, 2 series and 3 series, each require a different ring/pinion set.

I believe it was an 8.6... it was a 00 silv... dammit wont fit then
