Default 10 bolt gave in finally, opinion on a real rearend?

Well she has been clunking and popping for awhile now. She finally gave in at the track tonight and I wasn't even racing! Decided to do a couple of wot 1-2 and 2-3 shifts on the way to the track tonight. About a mile away she gave a couple good pops and began shaking on deceleration. Got her to the track and parked it. Watched tue cars for about 2 hours and decided to try my luck and see if she would even make it home. Got right to the exit gate and the rear locked up. Got a buddy to take me home and got a truck and trailor to take her home. Typing on the iPhone while riding back home.

Anyways, was looking to get a nice rear after the new year anyways, but it looks like I'll need one sooner than that. Was planning on getting a MWC fab'ed 9" due to the fact it will see a good amount of track time and you get so much for the money.

What is everyone's opinion? Is the MWC a good idea? Or should I look at something else? Have about $3000 to spend.

The MWC 9 is a badass rear-end. I believe you will love it.

Just don't get a 12-bolt

Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to be in the market for a 9" here shortly, and the MWC piece looks pretty badass and everybody seems happy with it

I dont own a Midwest chassis rear, (I have a Moser 12 that the posi has been rebuilt by MWC) but Eric is top notch and his work is outstanding. Have been to his shop many times and his reputation speaks for itself.

I have had the midwest 9 in my car all season. Easy install and its been totally bulletproof over 100 passes. So reassuring to pull up to the burnout box and know both tires are going to spin and you can launch as hard as you can without breaking anything.
ERic at midwest was awesome to deal with and I bought a bunch of other stuff from him also. all products were top notch quality.
