I just weighed a stock aluminum driveshaft, and a PST shaft. The PST 3.5" aluminum driveshaft weights 2.5# more than the stock driveshaft. Bob

But I was told by PST that this shaft weighs 12lbs???

Just wanted to chime in here and let everyone know that I have this driveshaft that I ordered from Bob about 4 months ago. So far its been great. Its a direct stock replacement that worked with my Moser 12bolt. One thing though is that the picture Bob posted is NOT what the driveshaft actually looks like. The one I got was not polished and didnt have the pretty PST sticker on it. Its just flat aluminum and looks like the stock one but 1/2 inch thicker. You might be able to polish it yourself but I dint try (I didnt really have time cuz I needed to get it on the car). Not that its a big deal, but wanted to let everyone know.

The driveshafts I ordered are made to fit the Moser 12 bolt and Moser 9 inch, as well as the stock 10 bolt. If you can get me the required length, then I can get it to you for that same price.
If PST is supplying you with transmission slip yoke, Pinion yoke and driveshaft yoke measure Dim W. See Diagram N.
If PST is supplying you with transmission slip yoke and driveshaft measure Dim X. See Diagram N.
2 Piece driveshafts use Dim Y + Z. See Diagram N.

even with a loop when a shaft brakes its not good, the car I seen hit the wall had a loop on it, when it broke it shook the car and sent it over to the left into the wall. 02 camaro mid 10 second car with a dennys nitrous ready shaft and broke it in 2 right in the middle.
Huhh, I don't want to hear that shit. I have a Denny's nitrous ready driveshaft and run mid 10's with a stick. I think it has a lifetime warranty but still I thought that thing was suppose to be bullet proof. It's real heavy too and made out of steel
