Ls1 RX8? well, mazda srewed me over and story short, i have to replace my ENTIRE engine...im thinking of doing an ls1 swap.
Any input would be nice

it is possible and it an amazing swap definately a car that will kill with its power weight ratio plus having god on ur side always helps lol

I'm doing an ls7/rx7 swap. For an rx8 I would talk to granny's speed shop, hinson supercars, and mallet performance.

yea, ive been talking with hinson about it...hopefully we will get started soon....but it's not a set in stone thing, its just something ive always wanted to do and now if the perfect opportunity to do so.
i think if sucessful, the swap would be amazing!

I heard of it being done and wouldn't think it would be to terrible hard....it would be a blast to drive....I say go for it if your gonna spend the money!

Do it! RX8's are pretty nice cars. an LS1 powered RX8 would be pretty cool.

gas milage...im getting 13 mpg, it goes through oil more than anything, i just want something different lol....ive always loved ls cars

yea...i dont know if i will be able to do it now...im having trouble with the insurance agency (they dont want to give me what i need for a new motor!) so i think i may just try to trade it in for something else...but if i can get the money, ls swap is top priority.
i hope i can join the family soon! (sorta)
