Default Overall Preferance: Your WS6/SS vs. 2010 Camaro?

I dont know if im the only one out there but I much rather prefer the overall body styling of the 4th Gen WS6 and SS cars then the brand new 2010 SS Camaro. To me it looks like an unfinished concept car, and I really dislike the interior at this point.

After reading the new copy of GM High Tech that had a first drive of the new SS I was kind of surprised how often they puked on the later F- Bodies as if they are complete POS'. I realize this car is newever and ahead in the technology department but I cant see how our cars are that bad. Maybe this is because Im really not getting along with the styling of the new SS?

Whats your overall take on these two generations? Do you prefer your WS6 or SS model or are you all about the new 2010 SS?

I like all of them, each one has it's own unique styling and I can appreciate what went into each car. I wish I had all three in my garage.

i guess it depends on what your going to do with it. i think our cars would be easier to turn into strip or autox cars, but the new ones are probably going to be put together much better as far as fit and finish goes. and it'll have more bells and whistles. i don't know what all special features the new camaros have, but personally i don't care for all the new "features" of newer cars. i think the new ones look good though, a lot better than any of dodges new muscle cars, and the mustang.

LOL, kind of a landslide that people like the 4th gens better then the 5th gen camaro.

appearance wise, i don't think there will ever be a car that looks better than a clean 98-02 silver or SOM ws6. but with that said i still like the new camaro's styling, interior, and performance. i would love to have a new camaro more than i would like to have another 4th gen.

I like pretty much everything on the new camaro except for the huge ass rims they put on there. i think some 16`s or 17`s woulda been just fine. big rims don`t belong on a muscle car or a sports car unless they are proportioned correctly and those big ass rims on the new camaro just seem out of proportion for the car. just my .02 though. i`d never give up my TA for a new camaro.

Disportioned? did you see how big the car is? small wheels=gay. Muscle car or not, it just plain out looks nicer. Most new cars now have atleast a 17inch as standard wheels. I personaly think a WS6 can use a nice clean set of 19's and when lowered it looks like it belongs on the car. ANYWAYS, back on the topic.

the new camaros are nice. but honestly, im happy with my 02 Z28. especially the amount of money i have dumped into it. i honestly like my 4th gen. no doubt, i would take 4th Gen SS/WS6 over the new camaros anyday.

I have not driven a 2010 but going by the exterior and interior, I honestly like my SS better. I do like the seats in the 2010 but otherwise like my interior better. It is a nice car and has a lot more features but it just doesn't do it for me.

Havent driven one either but i agree for the money i have put in mine, I have made it what i want and for that i would just keep mine and if i really had the money to spend i would just do a new front suspension and an LS3 or 7 swap and have all the power and prolly better handeling with my T/A

Def the SS.
Driving around during the Hot Rod Supernational night.
Next to a guy and gal in a 2010 RS for 9 blocks(20 minutes later)
The guy likes the leather, and the body style, but would rather have my car (the 35th ss le) i thought the same to myself, but i'd be a change to drive the 2010.

I voted for the 4th gen. I have to agree that there are few cars in the world that look better than an SOM ws6. The 2010 is a large car. My local dealer had a heritage party when the first not ordered 2010 was delivered. Beautiful car in every way, but just to big for my taste. Kinda off topic, but how many think it has a resemblance to the c6? LS3 will be going in my bird as soon as my LS1 takes a dump. If that ever happens..

The 4th gen black ws6 is the most beautiful car I have seen IMO. It has very nice curves all around the car. The new camaro looks like a 2 dr crysler 300 with a more sportier look or something. I hate the rear end of the new camaro. People who are creating designs for the new car need to think a little more. The camaro and the challenger look the same almost. I think GM did a terrible job with the new camaro. end rant.
