I'm stuck with a bit of a dilemma. I'm also a member at tbssowners.com and grrrr8.net, but we all know what each of those sites would say. I'm trying to decide on whether I should keep my TBSS or step into a new G8. The SS has AWD and every option minus rear DVD, which is nice on the two days it might snow, but I haven't seen many people complaining about issues in their G8s anyway. I'd get sport/premium with the G8. Any input?

The G8 Gt's i think are awesome cars, but if i had a choice, i would definitely stick with the TBSS. There's just something about a big suv that can outrun sports cars that is awesome. Not to mention they look good as hell too. I actually wanted one of the G8's but have decided if i buy something new it will be a new camaro ss or a TBSS.

If the TBSS is loaded meaning leather and the stock 20" wheels - there would be no choice i would do the TBSS for sure.
BUT
If the TBSS did not have leather i would consider about the G8...

I looked at ss's before I got the G8 but since I have a Yukon XL I didn't want two suv's. But I love the inside of the SS way better than the G8, the G8 ride is great and the power is ok. If I was to do it again I would get another SRT8. Keep the SS

If it was my choice I'd say TBSS all the way. So much potential and being a suv are pretty important to me. If I was buying another vehicle it would be a TBSS.

This isn't about which car you like more as to which car is more useful. Do you need the extra space the tbss provides and the awd? I'd keep the tbss. i'm picking one up once i get my finances in order

I'd keep the TBSS if you can, both are nice rides, and I've considered both since selling my WS6 last month.
I'll likely end up with a TBSS since I think they will be easier to find used than a G8, and I'f im buying a G8, I would want the GXP in a manual, pushing the cost much more expensive than a used TBSS.

It's what you want... do you want a SUV or do you want a car? Every time I see a G8GT I am like, "damn those are nice looking cars, wish I had one..." I don't even remember the last time that I saw a TBSS mostly because it looks like all the other SUVs. I just don't get too excited about them...

If you had no vehicle at all I would say the G8 but I say keep the SS. I love my G8 a badass car.

I like the G8 GT's better personally. But I am not a truck/SUV guy. I have driven a TBSS and it was pretty quick for what it was but I was not impressed.

depends on what you need. my parents got a g8 since it "fill" an empty hole.
mom dd-98 jeep gc tsi, dad dd- 97 gp gtp, they also have 70 nova ss, and 97 gmc k2500. so it does fill a spot. if they didnt have the jeep, they would have gotten a ss
If snow is not an issue, get the G8, but it is nice having an SUV for those times you need to haul biig stuff. Since you have the TBSS though, I would just keep it.
