no love for an 09 CTS-V that turns mid to high 11s with tires , pulley and tune? and could be the most comfortable 11 second car as well. i dont know about the 09 but my 05 handles amazing so im sure its up there too for such a heavy car.

He's decided to get the 2010 camaro now, either the z06 or the gt500 in 2012 and maybe start building a 67-69 camaro in a few years. Thanks for the help guys.

good choice imo. youll be well under 60k total with a badass car.
i wouldve went with a C6 for that kind of budget.

My car > New camaro.... sucks for you!! lol It's cool you're getting a new camaro. I'm sure the camaro is a very nice ride. Exterior appearance lacks big time with the new camaro. Only seen a handful that look good. They were all dark grey/black with iforged wheels.
really ??? i drove one at a dealership and it could barely turn the wheels in first gear with the traction control off. i was told it was a Ford Mustang Shelby Gt500. i couldve been told wrong but it had the little plaque signed by shelby and all.
yea man seriously there that fast. if you add just a intake to the car that is a gain of a whooping 80WHP!!!! its fuckin crzy. i dident believe it at first but these gt500's are running up with c6 zo6's there a close race man. but then you say to your self, did i really pay 50k for a fuckin mustang? its still a mustang to me. i got a ride in the shelby KR500 and it was pretty badass, with 4 people in the car that thing flew dude.

Now, I'm not taking anything away from a Gt500 because they are a hell of a car.. But seriously, running with C6Zs? How about getting the doors blown the hell off? That wouldn't even be a run.... Straight line, braking, handling, etc etc etc.. C6Z would DESTROY a Gt500..
FWIW, my vote goes for a cam only C6Z!!! High 9s/Low 10s with all the creature comforts and still drive like stock, but what do I know?
A little clarification here. I'm going in on a car with my dad. The 02 is mine the 07 is his. I would like to build something from scratch and he wants a new camaro. Any arguments for my side?
