Default Car Losing Power

So a while ago i noticed that my battery was draining little by little. So when it finally died I just replaced it because it was a 5 year old battery. So it ran fine for about a week and then it died again, so i went ahead and replaced the alternator. Worked again for about a week and then it died again. Now its to the point where I jump the car and get it up to 14 volts and it drains in a matter of 2 miles or less. Any ideas on what else it could be? I guess I'm going to have the battery checked out tomorrow, even though its 2 weeks old.

yeah you might want to check that little red wire going to the alternator and make sure it isn't loose or pulled out of the connector

Its most likely the excitor wire....the little red wire plugged into the alternator. Replace it. $10.00 off ebay. Splice it on with butt connectors and shrink wrap.
