Default Electrical Grimlens

I posted this up but think I will get better luck here...I want to buy this 99 C-5 from my father. Nice little car with 100K on it, Just a couple of issue's.. I know this part for a fact...he left his windows open during a rain storm and now the power seat Drivers side does not work it moves forward and will not stop moving forward. The radio does not work either no power to it at all no time displayed.. dead. Any Idea's? I checked the usual fuses ect. He even bought the black box under the seat that controls it still moved forward. He is willing to give me a good deal on it but I don't want to chase this electrical problem. To far....

Thank you in advance,

Zach

I would try new switches for the seat. Or at least try unplugging the seat switch and see if it still moves. If not, then it's probably the switch.

For the radio, try checking the fuse for it, it may be blown.

You know the radio ended up being a fuse, I didn't know there were TWO fuse boxes, I found it when I was looking for the BCM.

Got some help from a Byron hunter on the Corvette Forum when I was cleaning it with alchole I noticed a black spot between the "E" connections, so I scratched a groove where the black spot was and BOOM it solved the problem, hope this helps somebody in the future.
