its really not bad at all. you get way less rasp by having cats and a proper merge

Im not sure about his car, but mine is QUIETER with my hookers and this y-pipe than with factory manifods and cats...and the cats werent gutted either. It has almost no rasp and sounds great at 4000RPM's.

At cruise its pretty tame.

EDIT:

Twitch, you mind posting some pics of your setup with the car on the ground to see the clearance? I just want to compare it to mine, if you get a chance to snap some pics of it.

I can post pics of mine if someone wants to see this y hooked up to hooker headers as well.

Im not sure man, but I know the interior drone thats famous with flowmaster mufflers is gone and makes it that much more fun to drive. I didnt have a problem with it before, but now I can hear my stereo even better !

with my magnaflow with stock manifolds it seems like around 1400-1600 rpm at light throttle it sounds like theres drone but once i hit about 2000 it sounds idk how to discribe it like it gets quiter and louder at the same time like basically the tone gets better lol but its not as loud as 1400 rpm

Sounds great. Considering the same setup. What did the LT's and Y-pipe cost?

when i bought the lpps thye were 500 shipped. im not sure if they are the same price or not, im sure they are. the y pipe i got a special deal on since i was "testing" it out my car since no one has tried it on lpp headers before but i do believe the catted y is 350.

Best of both worlds now, eh, twitchtwice? Nice mellow sounding idle and refined/roaring WOT with the Magnaflow. And obnoxious loud and screaming WOT with the cutout. Good call. Sounds good, man.

hey twitch so stock cam, lpp headers, tsp catted y, and magnaflow, correct, and you still like it? drone? cuz i had and older slp loudmouth catback and y and got rid of it because the drone and vibrations were so bad i would get headaches driving this thing, now with the maggie and slp y no drone no headaches. I am considering the lpp headers and their ory with my magnaflow.....i just dont want that damn drone/vibration, but i think that should be solved with their new mounting points! would your recommend this setup? thanks! the videos sound awesome, so................
