Default **VIDS, PICS** LPP+TSP CATTED Y+ MAGNAFLOW+CUTOUT Thread

**VIDEOS IN THIRD POST** first off id like to start by saying the the TSP catted y fits the LPP headers, and that this ypipe is VERY nice, i am so glad i am ditching the TDs and going with a nice y setup instead. Great work on the new y TSP. This thread is just to show that the y pipe does work with the headers and just to post up some pictures because i know everyone on this site loves threads with pics

Not everything is here and bolted up so your going to have to bear with me ill be updated with pics as i go. The reason i didnt order the cb was because i wasnt sure if the y would work with my headers so i wanted to test fit it up before i dropped the $$. And now for the pics:

Things are still loose and need to be adjusted a little, but im going to wait for my magnaflow cb to get here for me to batten down the hatches and finish it up.

Any questions about anything just let me know.

did you ever have the Lpp Y pipe? if so do you like this one better? I hate the Lpp Y I can't get rid of my exhaust leaks from it.

No I went straight with the xpipe when I got my headers. But I can tell you now this ypipe won't be giving me any problems

I have the LPP headers and ORY and I have no problems with either of them. Where is yours leaking from? I heard the first batch of LPP LS1 headers had some issues, but I have no problems whatsoever. Im curious how that would sound with the catted Y and the magnaflow, im running almost the same setup with LPP headers and ORY to a magnaflow CB and I love it. Def post up some sound clips!

yeah i will when i get everything here and bolted up. i just started the car to check for leaks and to hear how loud it is with just the y and its really not that bad, the cats do a lot of sound deadening. How do you guys cure the leaks on the collectors? one strip of exhaust tape? you cant hear the leak but you can feel it a tad

fitment looks good. hope you get some clips up with the magnaflow on. any particular reason you went with cats? just wanting to save your ears a little?

I have a few reasons and the noise isnt one of them or i wouldnt have gone with the magnaflow lol. 1. ease of inspection 2. smell 3. less rasp in the exhaust.

I'm curious to see how your maggie fits. I'm about at my wits end with mine - had it up for the 5th time trying to get it to fit better or not dangle off at an angle, and it's still not right. I'm hoping headers + having it cut will fit. Good looking headers!

my magnaflow has/had kinda lol the same prob with dangling look, get a zip tie and pull it a lil tighter where the flanges are, it will put the center of the tip up worked pretty well for me.

Does this y pipe have a better merger than your typical hooker, pacesetter, etc. y pipe? As dyno happy as the folks are at TSP I would be surprised to find that they haven't done any side by side comparisons yet. Looks like it would flow a little better than some of the other competitions y pipes.

haha... If we could do it on the engine dyno I'm sure we would. They simply wouldn't fit to do the test!
