Default who makes an ORY with a flowmaster merge?

Besides Mufflex? Theirs is over $300, a little pricey for me, or is the merge the reason for the cost? Most other ORY's price out at about $130-$180. Thanks.

QTP did. You'd have to look for it used or find a dealer of theirs that still has some in stock. I've heard they have horrible fitment issues however

Texas Speed. (Here is the catted version, but they have an ORY as well.)

QTP. (They offer two different versions. The one with dual cutouts is pretty cool.)

American Racing Headers. (Expensive, but stainless steel and are very highly recomended by many.)

I had mine fabbed out of an existing pacesetter Y. I've got the best of both worlds now: ground clearance and flow. Link in sig.

Only the QTP has the flowmaster merge

Thanks for the input guys. By the time I bought the merge, and a pace setter Y, and paid a shop to fab it up, I would probably have more $$ in it than if I just bought the Mufflex pipe.

I dunno... The Y pipe is about $150 (if that much), merge ~60, welding labor probably around $60.

I couldn't be any happier with my off-road QTP y-pipe. The main reason I bought it was to have that 4" flowmaster collector already built into the Y.

QTP gets a lot of bad wrap here due to the Y not snugging up as good as others. However, I have no clearance issues whatsoever.

If we're getting technical, yes. The QTP uses the Flowmaster BRAND merge for the construction of its Y-pipes.

The other's I mentioned have a similar and equally performing merge. When a person is looking for this type of merge it's because they're looking for the performance and audio enhancements of this type of exhaust. All the Y-pipes I mentioned would suit the purpose.

Jegs sells the Flowmaster dual 3" to single 4" Y merge. I know because I just bought one. I'm going to couple it with my ARH headers that I had made with true 3" duals. A single 4" is only a hair less flow than 2 3" pipes.

Actually I think its only like 11% smaller than two 3" pipes, which is pretty much nothing in the grand scheme of things. I've got some stats on pipe sizes using the ol area of a circle formula. This is from another post of mine from way back:

A 4" pipe has 23.4% more area than a 3.5" pipe, and 43.8% more area than a single 3" pipe.
It also looks like the 4" pipe is only 11% smaller than dual 3" pipes, but 28% greater than dual 2.5" pipes.

4" pipe for the win!

The new tsp ory is much better, and inexpensive. I had one of the original ones, and just bought one of the new versions. The merge looks great now. I don't have it installed yet though. The pic on their website shows the old merge. Look at their cat y, the new ory uses the same merge.

That looks MUCH better. I will call them and if they have a merge like that on their 3" ORY for $129, I'm buying one.
