Looking at replacing motor mounts soon, just wondering if the oil pan gasket can be replaced without too much work while doing the mounts? Or does the motor need to be pulled?
If you are doing the motor mounts then I strongly suggest doing the oil pan gasket at the same time. You will be lifting the motor up slighty when you change out the clamshells and that is the perfect time to drop the pan. I read all the horror stories about dropping the oil pan but it seemed pretty simple for me once I had the mounts off.

i would just do it while your there, unless you plan on doing a cam soon. you gotta drop the pan to do the oil pump/timing chain. so it all depends on your intentions
Do you need to drop the tranny to change out the oil pan gasket? How would you raise the motor if you can't use the oil pan as a lifting point? How much more time would you say it would take to do the oil pan once the motor mounts are out? Total time for the whole job without a lift? Any good manuals or online guides?
