Pretty much any TD set-up will give you a nice deep sound. Listen to some different set-ups, different mufflers as well as X vs H..

Either way TD is the way to go, and definitely go 2.5" if worried at all about clearance.

my sound clip of TSP and bullets, no cats, pacesetter LT's, dumped. car is also running a 224r 114lsa cam + some bolt-ons. 375 rwhp 370rwtq on 87 oct, running 93 now.

about to go under the axle with a set of custom removable pipes. need ideas for 3" inlet tips though. all i've seen so far have been oval tips which i don't care for.

edit: forgot i made this vid, but its the same set up as^ but minus the cam. driving and WOT in car. good stuff.

well i got my 3" duals ran back. crush bend but its still duals i guess. it will work for now and i think overall its a pretty good job. i need to make a couple shields but other than that its pretty much finished. also gotta pick out some tips still.

here is a video, the sound isnt the greatest but the car sounds sweet. there is no way possible i thought it would be this quiet cruising. its like stock honestly. but soon as i hit that peddle... loud as hell

^^^^Very nice. Those crush bends don't look all that bad. What did the materials and labor cost you? Definitely need a better camera or put it closer to get a better clip.

Finally got the exhaust done on my car. Here's a vid I did earlier of it. Ebay stainless long tubes, custom 3" H-pipe, no cats, and single chamber mufflers, under the axle, to the rear bumper.

^^^^Good god man that sounds sick. H-pipe is where it's at with the single chamber flows. BTW those wheels really look great on your ride.

Got any pics of your set-up?

cam, the loudmouth resonators will be loud, but also very raspy. Get a tube style Borla xr1 or Magnaflow, or some flowmaster single chambers. All of those will be loud, but instead of ridiculous amounts of rasp they will have tone.

Yeah I would stay away from the loud mouths when going with True Duals.. True duals give a nice deep idle and a roaring WOT. The sound would be ruined with the rasp of LMs
