If you didn't use the newer ARP main studs you will have to shim the windage tray down a little or grind it where the rod bolts are hitting.

Custom work sometimes has to be done with the 383 cranks such as grinding the block in a few spots and shimming the tray.

put a washer under the tray on each bolt. may also need to open up the oil pick up tube bracket hole too

Its not always a direct fit, the Lunati crank will hit the block, well the crank wont but the rod bolts will. At leats thats what happened in the GM magazine 383 build.

Always check and double check the rotating assembly and valvetrain.

Not with mine which was 1st built 5 years ago. No clearance issues what so ever.
Plug and play.

Yeah, it depends on the stroker kit, but you will have to check for clearance for the windage tray and block.

I have an Eagle 4.000" Crank and Eagle 6.125" Rods. It was hitting the Tray everywhere, and the #1 Rod would have scuffed the Oil Pan, I had to clearance it.

Depending on the kit, the need to clearance/grinding the block is often necessary to run the 383 stroker.

hmm i was also unaware i thout all the kits would fit. but these guys are right no matter what kit u use always account for clearances and make sure it fits. last thing u want to do is fire it off and then.....boom....waste of 3000 dollars or more.

it was only hitting the oil tray thing so we used 2 washers for it to clear.

Well, if you start it up, and they aren't clearanced, spinning at 4000rpm should help clearance them....

It would of been such a great help
if you guys would of listed your stats.
since some people say some clear and other people say some dont?

year of engine
and kit details would have been very appropriate!
