Depends on what you want.. My buddy has a 2001 SS with 233/239 112 LSA cam from TSP aswell as PRC 2.5 Heads and a FAST 92. That cam makes shit for power with his setup. He makes 408rwhp with that setup.

I'd say go with Torquer 2, that's what I'm going with this March.

Another for torquer 2. Mods and numbers in the sig. And that was on a mustang dyno with no pulley or a f.a.s.t. ! I was in the same boat as you but stayed away from the lift of the v3. Your gonna be happy with whatever you decide to go with because they are all very similar and your cars gonna be a new beast !

I'd go 233/239.

I don't know? I made 441rwhp with the 233/239, a Fast 90/90 and PRC 5.3 2.5 in my 6 speed. Maybe the tuner was not that good, or remember a hot humid day will also affect HP readings.

One of my buddies made 447rwhp and he was running a LS6 intake, the same TSP 5.3 heads and a 233/239. Mostly all of the cars i have seen that have that cam make good power.

my 233/239 cam fuckin flew at the track. I went an 11.53, while lifting (was in first round of a bracket race), while banging the rev limiter between the 2-3 shift because the tranny was garbage. I had 100% stock heads, a stock throttle body, stock LS1 intake, stock ud pulley and no EWP. It only put down 374 on the dyno, but if I can run an 11.53 on a lift (went like 113mph that run, the previous run I went a 59' because i spun like a mofo but also had 118.8 mph) then id say that cam works damn well and makes more power than all of those other ones.

And about the sound..... (my frend added in the music) but here's the clip

Yeah, it's Sean from SolidTechnology here in Albuquerque.. He's pretty weak at tuning. And it is a M6.

Those are some good numbers though man, who tuned your car? I've been telling my buddy to get a mail order tune from TSP, I'm thinking that should bump up his HP because TSP knows their cams best.

ran a best of 12.01 at 114mph twice. on slicks/skinnies.

the power seems to come on at around 3300rpm's or so and builds great till I hit the rev. limiter at around 6500rpm's. I can't wait to put a fast intake, and rework the heads....

Here is a vid. on how it sounds, this is right after I had the cam put in. and the next vid is me running a 440rwhp. 04' cobra on a diet. I did redlight so I got the loss. but I held him off and was pulling on the big end. damn nerves...lol

What's your '60 foot? I would think with that power you could run faster.

Another big question to me...couldn't you make the same power with the T2 if you just lowered the LSA? Maybe even comparable to the "el torro". Besides a choppier idle with a lower LSA, any other draw backs?

Got the TRQ2 on a 112lsa and love it! Street manners are awesome, mileage around 20 mpg, idle sounds great and track times aren't too bad for cam only. 11.85 @ 118 with a 1.71 60ft. Talking with Madman now about some springs and shocks, hoping to hit some 1.50 60fts and maybe a high 11.50. My goal for 2010 is to add a Fast 92/92, TSP 5.3s and hopefully bust some 10.90s NA with some more weight reduction. My vote deff goes to T2, good luck!

60ft's are in the 1.7 range. sidestepping the clutch at 4,000rpm's.
stock clutch,shifter,suspension.
I now have dragbags. and alittle more weight reduction. and added timing to the tune. Im almost pos. the car will hit 11.8's or .9's now and should trap around 117mph.

I have the el toro and its a nasty little bitch.

I'll post sound clips and a full review really soon for sure, just waiting a tune before I give it my final thoughts.
