I know its not piston slap, because its separate from that sound. And much louder.

Thats the thing, everything was torqued properly. Problem was the threads didn't go all the way to the head of the bolt, so the flexplate wasn't tighten all the way down.

But ya, broken flexplate won't have been fun

Thanks for posting that vid, and Im glad you got it. I was gonna suggest something like the starter gear hanging in there or something, from your first vid I thought it was something at the back like starter related or flexplate related.
